§ 7-83. Discontinuance of service by consumer.

It shall be the duty of all water consumers served by the utility accounts office who may desire to discontinue use of city water to notify the utility accounts office in writing of the date and hour that they desire the service to be discontinued. Failure or refusal to give such notice, shall not release such parties from the regular rate of meter charge as set out herein or any rate which may be hereafter promulgated and fixed by the utility accounts office with the consent of the council.
